Wentworth and Buxbury screens!

From Nutcasenightmare:

I got to meet, in person, Tim Nash, Lucas Crandles, Hayden Grubb, Matt Gardner, & Peter Gresser. I work with them on W&B, and on Sep 13, it was screened at the NYTVF for the first time!

There were some technical difficulties, but I'm guessing that all the mishaps will clear up by the second screening of W&B, on Sep 16. Sep 16 is also Digital Day, and I plan to listen to some talks about writing for video games, comics, web promotion, etc.

Stay tuned!

~Wentworth and Buxbury~

The time has come for a comedy based on two supervillians bent on each others' demise. Homicidal psychopaths is quite a niche market. Wentworth and Buxbury are two young, charismatic, but nonetheless unfathomably evil supervillains-in-training with a healthy mutual disdain for one another (and a healthy mutual love of crumpets). A bizarre blend of callous homicidal instinct and the utmost of civility. The pair are sworn arch-nemeses yet at the same time, though they are loth to admit it, they might just be friends too.

Enough about the oddball characters. It's time to talk about their oddball creators. Some time ago, Dark Heart Studios was formed. They created the short film, "The Black Button". It got them a partnership on Youtube.

Meanwhile, a bunch of animators were rising to fame. We all came from different countries, but we all came together on one of the best sites ever: Newgrounds.com. Badger Badger Badger? Hyakugojyuuichi? Retarded Animal Babies? Salad Fingers? It's all there, and it's all good. We are Nutcasenightmare, Blitzam, and Wogoat.

How did Dark Heart Studios and Newgrounds meet? It all started with this thread: http://www.newgrounds.com/bbs/topic/866256

And it snowballed from there. (Funny we should say that: we have a snowball joke in our pilot)
Since then, we've been slaving away to produce the pilot TV episode, which we plan to complete over the summer.

But, we have taken an opportunity at fame by sending an awesome portion of our pilot to the New York Television Festival. Yes, it's big, it's looking good, and we hope to make it.

You are witnessing the birth of a hit TV show. Thank goodness I mean that metaphorically.
